It went on for about a million years considering that we were ready at about 6 yesterday evening. Everyone looked wonderful and we went bowling and ran round the bowling alley in our 80’s gear. Because of the snow everyone was late so we had a lot of champagne from the bowling alley. I got a free beer.

After that we went to an 80’s bar and there was a rotating dance floor and about a million creepy old men. One of them told me that he couldn’t live without me, which was lovely. What a delight. Another guy put his hat on my head so I just gave it away.

THEN we went to another club called willow and danced with free prawn crackers. I went out with loads of multicoloured beads and came back with them all the same colour. I don’t understand how that happened at ALL.

Afterwards we came back to the house and the boys were giddy to the point where it was slightly terrifying. Ali wanted to borrow a duvet for his bed and used the metaphor of, ‘the stable is big enough but there is no straw’.
